A friend of mine has a spanish licence, and told me that the spanish dgac does not allow him to do his LPC 2 months ahead of the end of validity of his type rating. In other jaa countries there is no problem with that but it seems that in spain they have to do the lpc the every 12 months, not every 10 months? is that right?

Sorry, but I guess that yor friend is wrong.

You have up to 90 before to perform yor LPC, like in any other JAA country.

>>>Mods, I hope this being not too far off-track, if it is, please redirect/advice<<<

With an english language LPC done and included in a non-spanish JAA-CPL, I have been wondering about the addition of a spanish-LPC into the same license. All this in the context of flying in Spain possibly some day in spanish-speaking rest-of-the-world, opinions please:
- possible? how and where?
- necessary, recommendable, useful?
- now, soon, further away?

Thanks,
