Does anyone know anything about this type of work? I already know the obvious, they fly the drivers into the track in a helicopter!

I mean, is there a specific way to get into this type of work short of having sufficient time and knowing the right person?

Does anyone know the hour requirements for such a position?

Any other information would be much appreciated. I find it interesting. Thanks!

I think you may find the ones who arrive by chopper are piloted by themselves. They make enough to have expensive toys.
Seem to recall Davey Allison(i think) losing his life on landing at a Nascar weekend years ago,in his newly aquired Hughes 369hs
