Welcome back to the most distinguished of the old Coastal Command Lib outfits, and here's hoping that today's standard parade went well.

I'm sure that Naught will continue to Escape You in your new role.

Several of the inky fingered scum out here at Le Bourget raised a glass to you this evening.

I think it was in the '70s when the squadron bosses cars were Minis that someone modified the 206 badge on the door to read "What a Gripper!" Oh how we giggled.

Hope this means they gonna stop moaning about how they were wrongly disbanded!

206 Sqn has reformed at Boscombe Down. It has replaced the 'Heavy Aircraft Test Sqn' and Multi-Engined OEUs (mainly the AT&AAR OEU) and will be responsible for conducting all aspects of Heavy Aircraft Flight Test.

Various Flights of the Sqn are likely to be based at locations other than Boscombe to better facilitate flight trials.

The funny thing is that the former Nimrod pilots now on 206 Sqn have previously served on the lesser Sqns!
