Hi does anyone know if its possible to sfh in cyprus ? Off there for some R&R http://static.pprune.org/images/infopop/icons/icon7.gif shortly and it would be good to explore the place from above.

The only helicopter available for hire in Cyprus the last time I checked is a 300. But the rates are high and they will not let you solo. The last time I enquired it was IRO €400 per hour. No 22's/44's anywhere for hire. A shame as the island is so beautiful. A business opportunity for someone....By the way, if you venture to Nicosia keep an eye out for the white UN Huey making it's daily rounds. Lovely! NP

Thanks for the info, shame its so expensive but if its the only one on the island for hire then i guess they know their market...

Will look out for that Huey altough probably hear it before seeing it?
