Private Flying In The Turks & Caicos Islands

Hi

I've been offered employment in the Turks & Caicos Islands (not in aviation).

I wondered if there are any opportunities for private flying in the Islands?

In other words, are there any owner/operators who hire light aircraft, or are all aircraft based in the region privately owned and operated?

Well I've arrived in the Islands to start my employment.

No sign of any general aviation activity - but I didn't hold out much hope!

Just need to find the Aviation Authority to validate my UK ATPL for the TCI - at least I managed to renew all my ratings prior to the trip out here.

Maybe find some recreational flying some day?!
