I'm sure someone has posted on this before, but I'm looking for somewhere in South America flying as either air taxi, air photography, banner tow, etc. I'm interested in Colombia, Argentina, or Ecuador in particular but still open to anywhere. Where should I begin? I'm 21 with commercial multi and about 350 hours of flight time... I'm loolking to go for the experience... pay isn't a huge factor as long as it is pay, but more of a time builder and the opportunity to live there and perfect my spanish (i'm intermediate now). I just returend from 3 weeks in Colombia and loved it. Is the best option is to pick where I chose and start going around to operators? Also, is it even realistic to try and find a job with my credentials. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks, Brad

Brad,

Let me know what you find out. I live just south of you near Ocala. I flew in Bolivia awhile back and it was fun!

Drop me a PM and we will chat

Hi

I'm ATPL CPL/IRME and MCC (JAA) and my girlfriend is bolivian. I'd like to know if little commuters company hiring in Bolivia or in south america. Do you have information about that? a list of name?

I'd like to fly on light aircraft, like Caravan C208, little twin engine.....

Thanks

hey im kind of looking at the same kind of thing as you are.. with the same amount of experience. i can tell you that GA is pretty much non existent in Ecuador. I have looked. you also need to go through an annoying bureaucratic process to get an Ecuadorian pilot's license. Despite all that, I will be still going back there to look at volunteer pilot jobs. Has anyone done that? it would be interesting to hear from someone.
