What do you considered as mid-age? :)

What do you mean by middle-aged? Is it 38 years old as in your profiel?
Frankly, I don't think there is anyone but CX recruitment staff can give you an answer.
The oldest cadet I've heard of is 32years old. BUT, before him, many people thought that 28-29 is too old for the cadet pilot programme.
Anyway, what I mean is if you don't give it a try, you'll never have a chance.

If it is your dream, just go to their website and submit an online application. There's nothing to lose!

For the online application, you need to write a short passage regarding your suitability and why do you want to be a pilot. To maximise your chance, you may also want to convince them why you are a suitable candidate despite your age?

If you are offered an interview, again, be prepared for your age issue. CPP aims to train a cadet into a captain. It takes a lot of money and time. You need to think about that, and convince them you are passionate and capable of being a pilot.

I'm in my mid twenties...but.....does it matter with this thread?

That's great you have heard of a 34-year-old cadet pilot.
I assume you are 38 years old, so he/she is just 4 year younger than you.
Go ahead and give it a try.

What I mean is ..this is a post regarding middle-aged cpp applicants...about their chance and how to maximise their chance~
my age has nothing to do with any of these!

I think many pilot-wannabes >30 thought that they would not have any chance for cpp...until the 34-year-old guy you mentioned succeeded.

It's true for all ages : give it a try or you'll never have a chance

afterall, it's up to you.

again, you will know when you reach 33 years old or so. When things are so different from mid-twenties.

anyway, thanks.

I wish to hear any sharing of applicants around this age. maybe none here~
