I do have FAA CPL with out instrument rating so my license is endorsed with limitation- not valid for carriage of persins for hire in airplanes on cross country flights of more than 50 nautical miles or at night. And I plan to Convert my FAA license to CASA license (australian license), I plan to do my instrument rating in Australia, after completion of Instument rating in Australia , Will I receive CASA (australian) license with out any restriction?

Before doing the Instrument rating in Australia you will have to do the CPL conversion which entails an Air Law theory exam as well as a CPL flight test. After that you will be issued with the CASA CPL. Once you have the CASA CPL you can start with your Instrument Rating which will allow you to fly in all weather conditions. So no, you won't have any restrictions.

Cheers.
