aka Business class aussie style - whats going on with the food and bev in Sydneys Qantas lounge?

Flying out Thurs night after a long day in the office only to find the lounge had a few remnants of cheese, plus some crackers in a jar. err thats it....
maybe just get hope the punters sloshed on the mediocre wine is the plan?

Finding a shower too was hard enough, wander through a cordoned off area, past some cleaners playing cards and get your own towel thansk

Very poor and a clear sign of the state Qantas is in

Hasn't it always been like that - the Qantas Club is for the trackie dackie class.....

Never understood why they never had a business class lounge - if you were a full fare business pax you were not allowed into the trackie dackie club - this was only rectified last year I think..... they just put a wall across the QANTAS club - 1/4 business class club the rest trackie dackie club.

The international lounge is much the same....

The first class lounge in sydney is a little better - although you have to put up with Newson's infatuation with the 1970s - he loves his poo browns, wooden veneer and orange colours..... just walking in makes you violently ill.

Thats what happens when you put $'s ahead of Customer Service. They have sacked them all and now they are wondering why Virgin Blue has grabbed another 5% of domestic pax. MORONS!!! And with their total preoccupation with Jetstar and their total contempt of premium class passengers over the past few years they are also handing ALL future premium pax to Emirates and SIngapore. AJ lift your game!!!!

Jed Clampett,

correct on all counts there Jed but don't worry.

The cabin services department has a new secret weapon to combat the premium market share we are bleeding to EY, SQ, CX and other real international airlines.

White serving jackets in P/C.

Can't you just imagine how much value that'll add to the passengers experience..........:ugh:
