I'm just here for a few opinions and possibly replies from some people who are in or have been in a similar situation.
I am thinking about becoming a pilot and found that there are two paths to do it commercially.
I can either train part-time at my local airport at one of the flying schools there, i was informed that it does take longer as it is part-time but slightly cheaper than going to say oxford aviation or cabair. On the plus side, I am still at college and so can balance both, earn my PPL and finish off the final commercial module once college is out of the way. This all sounds good but there has to be a down side, afterall we all achieve our wings the cheapest way possible. So what is the big deal about the full-time flying schools when they are more expensive, i'm beginning to think that they are worth the extra costs. Thanks
