Hi,

Does anyone know of a school that they would recommend that has cheap B206 rates please? I'm looking to do my skills test for the CPL(H) on one.

Thanks,

SBW

I'd try Sterling in Norwich.

Sloane in Northampton used to have very good 206 rates, but I've no idea if they're still reasonable.

I'm London based at the moment, but I'd anticipate being able to do the hours I need in a week or so weather permitting, so am perfectly happy to go elsewhere if the price differential makes it worthwhile.

Thanks,

SBW

Ah, rotorspin,

I think he wants to fly it, not have his photo taken in it!

rotorspin,

Forgive my attempt at humour.

I'm sure it's a lovely aircraft, and I hope it's happy piggy-backing on Cranfield's AOC.

Nice flowers, too!

Just to clarify.....

Your doing a CPL(H) skills test on B206? Did you do the whole CPL(H) Flight Training on a 206?
Didnt know you could do the training on one type then the skills test on another........

Sorry to hijack but can the CPL(H) flight training be done on an R22 and then the skills test with Fred Cross on a R44???

Thanks:ok:

Firstly, we don't know Sarboy's circumstances and he may not have needed a CPL(H) course as we know it!!

However, yes, I believe you can fly different types for the CPL(H) course and the test but would you really want the added pressure of flying perfectly in a type that you've not flown for a while 'cos you've done the rest of the course in a different type? I wouldn't!! :}

Cheers
