Im going to apply for a flight school soon and i heard that there is going to be a personality guestionnaire which includes one task where you have to draw something. You are going to have 10 almost blank squares, some squares have points, lines, half circles.. in it and you have to draw a picture from it. You also have to describe each picture with one word. When you finish, the test controllers write down the time that took for u to draw these pictures. After that they´ll give this test again, you have to do the same things, except you have to draw different pictures, and your time is written down again..
Can somebody please tell me what kind of test is that, what should it show about the person, what kind of pictures should i draw and why is the time important?

Probably just some HR bollox. If you are paying for your own training you are unlikely to fail and will be accepted. How much are they charging you for this test? May be a premature comment, but sounds to me like an integrated school squeezing more money out of you. In the current climate, save your cash and go modular because job prospects extremely poor.

acctually it doesnt cost a thing because its funded by the state and therefore the competition there is pretty fierce

Okay, perhaps I was a bit quick with my response which was aimed more at some of the big european integrated schools. Most of the aviation tests are checking your capacity to do many things at once. I hope it goes well.

Witam :ok:

To be honest, as it was said already if it was something you'd pay for, you would probably get in without a bigger problem - they would squeeze as much money out of you as they probably could but hey..

Although, if you're not paying for it (Ohh, I wish I didn't have to :{)

I think.. ( but that's just what I think) is that the time might be important because of what you would come up with, with that time comparing to someone else or their averages. Poland is weird itself so who knows what they can come up with? Just think of what they lines/circles whatever, remind you of and go for it. They may have specific instructions regarding those.. so really, who knows?

I don't know if you should plan on what you're going to draw before you even get there. Personally, I would relax, don't stress out, that's not really going to get you anywhere.

What school is that you're going to apply to?

sounds like a morrisby profile test.

It's a load of pants. Drawing straight lines with your left hand and writing how many things are metal and round.

Unfortunately many airline selection/sponsorship schemes do them. Little kiddies do them too in secondary school before they meet their Careers 'advisors' (clowns).

It gives a profile as to whether you are techinically based, or good with people, management etc.

thank u guys for posting, it certainly helps a lot. However i dont think its morrisby because u dont have to draw with your left hand nor write how many things are metal and round.. You just have to draw 10 pictures.. Still dont understand how this thing can show something about your personality, however psychologists use it:rolleyes:
