I recently heard that LOT (POLISH AIRLINES) has been taken over or will be taken over by Lufthansa... Does anyone have any more info on this??

LOT is another Star Carrier bleeding cash whose sole Business plan is "lets not take hard decisions and get taken over by Lufty instead"

Privatisation is normally a sign that a government is flogging off the family silver. However, in this case the silver is a little tarnished.

Back in May the Poles were trying to flog it to Turkish Airlines. They're looking to shift it by 2011.
