Would there be any takers for a Ppruneken Pis bash in Brussels this Summer (late June/July)?

The SSK is celebrating a milestone birthday this year and might be persuaded to stand a round (or two).

If the dates work out, you can count me in!

The 6th of June would be fitting, I think, for the big 6X event!

I'm pretty flexible, but if t'were a Saturday, then 6 - 13 - 20 June or 4 - 18 - 25 July. Hellsbrink is also interested so that could make four.

Any Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening would suit me.

If I'm in town, would certainly be interested.

:ok:Would be v interested, logistics being less a problem now I have 2 clear days in LHR on AKL/HKG/LHR. If Jun 6th then would need to know soonish to get a bid in on that roster. Any later Fri/Sat/Sun not so critical, timing-wise.

Well that has to clinch it. I’m a bit superstitious about celebrating a birthday before it’s happened so I suggest Saturday 18th July.

I’ll line up a venue for beers (what else?) early evening and a modest, typically Belgian dinner. For out of towners who may be interested I’ll sort out an afternoon sightseeing (and more beers).

I’ll start a new thread and keep it updated with participants. Would those who have responded so far PM me to say yes/no/maybe for that date.

I seriously dislike Brussels for having spent there some very very unpleaseant years and I promised myself not to go there again. However a PPRuNe bash is arguably the only way to relike to place (short of a pair of...). So if July 18th is fixed I am off to schedule a trip. So is it Jyly 18th?
