F-16's over Schiphol

This is probably not the right forum for this question, so feel free to repost elsewhere, but I was wondering if any of my Dutch colleague knew the reason for 3 F-16's to fly overhead and circle Schiphol today? They came in from the West over Hoofddorp and then circled Schiphol for about 10 minutes.

Could not hear anything on ATC as I turned on the scanner a little late.

Maybe for some aircraft spotting? :)

Demonstration F-16 with new colour scheme rolled out yesterday so I think they did a flypast en-route from depot.second a/c had last years colours.

I remember in the early 1990s (1991 IIRC) the last few F-16s being completed for the Dutch Air Force at Fokker. As is customary the delivery was very spectacular!
