On the flat coastal plain near to EGNH ( Blackpool ) we have HMS Inskip where 4 very tall Radio masts stand out, during daylight hours they are no problem, but for quite some time now at night there are only three of the four lit up, ......... is this a cost saving ex,...or is it logic to assume that if a night time flyer sees three stacks of lights he/she will automatically stay wide of the area thus... missing (hopefully) the unlit mast.

Any thoughts on this?

Stay over the motorway.....much safer there!

Never mind the towers.....remember all those micro-lights that are so hard to see!

It is possible they do not know. Ever thought of advising them through a local ATC unit? If they are high enough, they have a legal obligation to keep it lit.
