Guys, I know there is another entire threadline for this somewhere on here, however I have a No 1 son heading to Cranwell at the end of May having somehow passed all the interim interviews to get to the OASC stage for recruitment as a pilot.
I'd like to try and shortcut things a little.;)
Much appreciate any and all advice, references, websites, reading material you may think appropriate (I'd quite like him to succeed!).
I served in the Navy, [rotary, Wessex 5 in the Seventies], and clearly (probably correctly) he doesn't think I know much about the whole process. I think it's called a generation gap.:uhoh: I certainly don't know much about the current selection process, and well - PPPPPP as I still remind him!:E

Perhaps he should show the initiative and read the second thread which has nearly 3000 questions and answers on the subject.

Quite a lot of useful stuff in the sticky thread second from top, but look also in this forum (http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=96) on studentroom.
