Class 2 PPL Medical

Does anyone know if there is a way of getting the relevant medical for a PPL through a service doctor / med centre?? Or is it only available by a civvy CAA approved doc?

Only if the RAF doc or locum is a CAA licensed examiner. Benson has one (where I get mine done and I think Bzn has one too

I had one done at Cranhell a year and a half ago. Cost me about 50quid I think. It was done at the same time as my PME
