Logging on is usually a straightforward affair. A choice between "classic" prompt or simply clicking a user.

On one PC at home with nothing vital/sensitive on it, and me as the only user (and switched-off Guest account), the unit boots totally open right to the desktop.

It has started pausing at a "Can't logon etc." message. This removes by hitting the "OK" button. Then the (only) user option is clicked and it goes to desktop. So no actual problems getting going, but an uncommanded change which I'd rather not have.

I'm not sure what happened to start this, and I can't seem to remove it, though I haven't "gone deep" yet. I've just cycled the log on settings and so on, but can't return it to as earlier.

Any ideas please?
