Hello to everyone,
I am a spanish pilot living in usa. I hold a JAA CPL issued in Spain. Does anyone know if I could renew my ME an IR ratings anywhere in the US. How about the class 1 medical?

You can renew your first class medical in the USA. What you can't do is make your initial first class in the USA.
Unless rules have changed, you should still be able to renew your MEIR in the USA.
Where to renew... unsure.(google I suppose?)

International Eye Associates (http://www.internationaleye.com) - for the JAA Class 1 renewal although I think you have to convert your medical state of issue to the UK for that.
You can renew your Spanish MEIR with a UK JAA CAA examiner; although be prepared for a shock; the standards are considerably higher than the the Spanish MEIR; also people will pre conceive your skills as a result of this; so you'll be on the back foot all ready; so try and prove them wrong.
