Does anyone have any idea why the CAA have decided to raise the ATPL exam price to £86 in Orlando! Im at Orlando Flight Training and just got told about it!

The same reason any costs go up, to make more money.

Maybe because you have nicer weather and the guys at the CAA are jealous. For £86, I hope you can keep the paper!

Maybe they'll use it to install cameras, to monitor the blatant cheating which went on when I did my exams there.

CAA International taking over the running of exams outside UK.
The charge is for Invigilation and extra costs associated with running exams outside the UK.
Some schools outside UK charged an extra fee for access to the exam centre. This is now included by CAA International in the single per exam fee.
