There is no Turkish forum, so I am hoping someone can answer me this question or at least help me in the right direction.

What are the requirements for an FO to move into the left seat? What are TT required, experience needed? Also can they fly with an inexperienced FO? If anyone can throw some light on this that would be great. I have tried to find out but no one seems to know.

These are the rules written down in turkish.

in short:

4500TT
1500 hrs on airplanes above 27T
6 years pilot experience
3 years airline experience
500 hrs on type (first upgrade)
no checkride failure during last 2 years.
