Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any college or university around in either Canada or the USA which offers a Bachelors degree program for students who already have all their certificates to work in the industry (CPL, Group 1 IR, or higher) and who would need to complete the program via distance learning.

I've tried looking myself, but as yet have found nothing conclusive as they all require some part of flight training.

This is simply an "ego boosting" excersise to get the BAv at the end of my name! :8

Any help is much appreciated.

Athabasca University offers credit transfers for Commercial Pilots. It's hinged on what program your interested in and where you obtained your licenses/ratings. The majority of their courses/programs are offered as distance education.

AU: Commercial Pilot (http://www.athabascau.ca/main/pilots.htm)

They don't offer a Bachelors of Aviation or any nonsense like that. You're better off with a general commerce or management degree or at least something that would make you employed outside aviation should you lose your medical or are unable to find work.

Utah Valley University at Global Aviation Degree Program (http://www.uvuaviation.com)
Embry Riddle at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - World's Leader in Aviation and Aerospace Education (http://www.erau.edu)

These are just a couple. There are lots to choose from in the US.
