BBC News says Paris airports closing from 1900 due possible strong winds. I've never heard that one before - can it be true?

F-GLXQ (B734) wearing Axis Airways colours operated the inbound AF5854 Brit Air to NCL this afternoon yet the return to CDG was cancelled, as are subsequent flights. Not sure if it left empty or not, presumably so

I've just seen a weather report for CDG that shows strong gusts (30kts) upto around 1300z. What is the minimum operating level for gusts at CDG?

Wouldn't have thought that was too terrible...

Air France have delayed/cancelled the oceanic traffic to meet the late opening times.
