Just saw this advert today on Flight Global looking for CRJ Captains in India. Requirments were:


Line Captain Candidates must:

- have a minimum of 2,000 hours PIC time;
- have a minimum of 1,000 hours PIC multi-engine time;
- be type rated on a variant of the CRJ aircraft family (-1/2/7/900);
- have a minimum of 500 hours must be as PIC on a variant of the CRJ aircraft family;
- have flown a variant of the CRJ aircraft family within the last 6 months;
- hold a Class 1 medical and be less than age 63;
- be fluent in the English language.

Our client offers a benefit package including:

- a monthly salary of 8,500 US $ after tax (equivalent to approximately 12,750 US $ per month before income taxes);
- overtime pay at 90 US $ for hours after tax above 80 hours per month;
- a eight weeks on/two weeks off schedule;
- an extra fifteen days of paid vacation per twelve months of service;
- ten day paid sick leave per year;
- medical insurance coverage;
- a lodging allowance of 1 Lakh (approximately 2,000 US$) per month after tax;
- free local ground transportation;
- worldwide ID travel privileges as per Airline rules.


My question is who is this employer?? All leads appreciated. Thanks.

As per my knowledge that will be Jet Lite ..

JetLite only have CRJ 200's though - no 700/900's. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The other is Air India Regional; they operate a fleet of 3-4 CRJ 700s.

I know several that have applied for that job....don't ever respond to anything sent to them. The job posting also seems to pop up every two months. I don't think anything is going on.
