I am currently in my final year of secondary school. Therefore I am now looking at what to do in university and sixth form. I have decided on studying physics, maths, english and buisness studies.
I have been saving over the past few years for my flight training and now have just about enough to get my PPL. Is this a wise move though? Many of the flying schools and university courses offer "from 0 hours". So would I be doing my PPL now to have to do the PPL again when I get to uni or enter a flight school.
Secondly are there any other ways to enter flying than the usual 6th form followed by a university degree or expensive flying school? What is the best option with the most solid groundings to have the best opportunities at getting an airline job?
Thanks in advance.
