Ahh, still looks the biz though. Would be nicer if it was yellow. (Oh, and tongue, very much, in cheek with that).

All the same, 40 years old.

Oh well done. Every rotary 'frame is badly needed to support the ongoing ...........

Erm, hang on. Why is she in Arctic cammo? Is the Sandpit weather about to take a chilly turn?

Having been asked to design the special schemes for both of these Sea Kings and the seven FN100 Hawks (albeit NOT the Jetstreams or Harrier:rolleyes:) I have a point of correction - ZF115 is in the "Bosnian" scheme, not an "Arctic" scheme. Cabs used in CLOCKWORK had a white ARTF finish applied over the base Drab Olive (later NATO Green), whereas those 845 NAS aircraft operating in Bosnia during 1995 had green stripes applied over the existing white UN scheme following the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement. This was later replicated back at Yeovilton with a more robust pattern to that applied in theatre, and it is this that ZF115's scheme is based upon.

Just remind me, exactly how far past their recommended flying hours are they? 40 years is a fair old time for a car, let alone a higher performance machine (I say high performance only in comparison to land vehicles. And snails)

Forgive me, but does that camouflage in the second picture (the one wiv no blokes) say what it seems to say on the RHS from door to cockpit?

Looks like 'W*NK' to me!

PS. Look closer, if you don't believe me!

It's rather nice flying a recently refurbished cab that works! Nothing to do with it being a PR cab at all I imagine:ok:

It's also nice that there's no HUMS, (and CFVDR) fitted to provide an impediment to flight:O

Can anyone tell me what is the name of that color paint, or specification, that is? I have made several models of earlier Sea Kings, but can never get that color quite right. A Federal standard number or testors color available in the USA would be apprecaited.
