Hi Folks

Been reading the recent thread on Phil Crouchers JAR Professional Pilots Study Guide.

Question? - Which one is the latest?, Is it the black and white cover with the 747 about to enter the terminal or the one that Transair are selling which shows a 737 landing?

I'm looking for a book that will provide a general overview of the exam subjects, that I can start to cover prior to signing up for the groundschool course.

Equally, any other ideas for titles to consider would be appreciated.

Thanks!

As mentioned in the other thread, the picture in the transair catalogue does not get changed often - the latest one has the 747 about to go through the terminal window, like in Airplane! from my website. They've just ordered a whole bunch but they won't be there for a week yet.

check the PilotsReference Guide:

PilotsReference.com (http://www.pilotsreference.com/products/pilotsreference_guide.html)
It is a condensation of important ATPL subjects in a single book.:ok:

Yes, that's also recommended!

Thanks for the advice, just deciding on which one get.

Hi Phil, I used to be one of the 'pilots assistants' at Air Sarnia/Ellen Vannin at Hurn. Hope your well and thanks for the update on which book to get.
