Anybody read ?

Ok its a bit dated but some of the ideas of there always seemed far fetched.

Brummie Islamic fundamentalists attacking an RAF base like they would ever attack anything military or civilian in the uk....sheeesh:rolleyes:

Russia turning more away from the west.

Israel getting attacked under various guises.

Islamofascists gaining power across a variety of countries.

Just like 1984 is some of the ideas a strong possibility mixed with some fictional items.

Sometimes fact can stranger than fiction. Watch Spooks, but beware the black omega's, but strange how their plot lines written sometime previously are close to the current situation in real time.

Read it shortly after it came out. A very astute assessment of the way things might pan out in the early years of the 21st Century. In fact I would go as far as to say an unusual bit of forward thinking for a Navigator :ok:

I leant it to a friend in the Int world and got it back a few days later half read, with said friend saying it was far too close for comfort and as such not an enjoyable read.
