Could you tell us if it is better to go for the RAM engines or overhaul them ?
I have been reading that you won't reach TBO on the RAM's.
But it seems to be the same problem with the stock engines and reading a lot of info mostly due to pilot missmanagement.
Checking the price it seems that there is a $ 10 to $ 15.000.00 difference (per engine).
So please hit us with all possible info
Thanks already

RAM builds quite good engines...and you pay the price up front, make no mistake.
Part of that price is to advance pay any warranty claims the aircraft owner might have with his RAM overhauled engines, and yes, RAM does provide quite good warranty service.

Another option.
GTSIO engines are quite complicated internally, and do require careful pilot operation to make TBO...which they absolutely will do, IF treated properly.

Try this alternative for a GTSIO overhaul....

Aircraft of Devine Inc. (http://www.devine-air-group.com/dae.htm)

I have two of their overhauled GTSIO engines, and no problems whatsoever, to date.
On time, on budget.

I just checked their website and seems to be ok.
How much hours to date did you already do ?
When was it done ?
What did you pay ?
How are their paintjobs ?
Did you checked their interiors ?
Someone else who had their engines overhaulled at this shop or had their interior done ?
Thanks guys
