Zone alarm suddenly informed me that it had discovered a new network.......127.0.0.1:confused::confused::confused: Quite why the localhost is detected by ZA I'm not sure but it caused all sort of problems with sites not working correctly and NoScript blocking 127.0.0.1:4587 :confused:

Ended up re-installing ZA and all is well.... anyone else had any problems?

It shows as 'Loopback Adaptor' in my ZA in the 'trusted zones'. No problems in the running.

That's interesting BOAC , I'm trying out their security suite at the moment but its causing a lot of issues for some reason I don't understand. with Anti-virus and/or spyware turned on but with the spy site blocking off, it stops sites loading or it takes an age for them to do so turn AV and SW off it's not too bad. think I'll go back to the basic firewall only ans see what happens.
