Apparently the CAA test centre at GCNS at Glasgow will not be avalible until next summer (not sure of dates). Just found this out after booking the exams and assuming that avalibility is never an issue at Glasgow, flights and hotel (which are not refundable :ugh::ugh::ugh:).
What they are doing is automaticaly asigning Shuttleworth regardless of second choices so by the time they get round to sending you the confirmation the others may be full so you may be stuck there. So don't even put it as an option!
Another thing I found out while trying to sort this is that the FCL finance department at the CAA answer their phones much more than if you press the exams option and the lady I talked to sorted it all for me with the Exams office.
