I have been told that a school close to Belfast has been taken over by new management, who are making sweeping changes to say the least! Best of luck to the new owner/owners in difficult times, :D Was that one of their helicopters that did the Xfactor drop of the young Dungiven hopeful last week?
Thanks

Yes it was one of theirs, the new owner is making many changes and the whole place has been refurbished. Was there on Sunday very nice.

does these changes involve telling stories to the CAA about who HE believes might be involved in illegal charter ops? I hear they are taking a very pro active part in naming and shaming people they believe to be operating helis outside of the law. But perhaps pontificating from on high without being in full grasp of all the facts wont get whatever results they are trying to get?

If you operate commercially without an AOC then you need to be reported. If you do not then you have nothing to worry about, do you!

absolutely agree with you! :-) but if you are not doing anything illegal do you warrant an investigation based on a report made by some one before getting the facts? I dont know, maybe you do?

AOC Commercial Services (http://ebasic.easily.co.uk/00F01A/022010/wedding.htm)

The website for this company is still advertising the above services, but rumour has it the AOC has been suspended and senior staff have been told they are to be made redundant...
