I have a TR course comming up in the new year and
would like to pre-study the TR material to ensure I don't get
over run during the course.

Anyone have any recommends for either CBT or book/manual type
applications available for purchase.

This might ge you started - SmartCockpit - Airline training guides, Aviation, Operations, Safety (http://www.smartcockpit.com)

It's free and has some of the technical stuff there straight out of the flight manual. There's more on there for A320 and 737 types but at a quick glance, there seems to be enough there on the 777 to get you up and running.
