Does anyone know if there are any plans to get the IR(A) training approved for USA?

The initial IR skills test must be taken in a JAA state.
The CAA's schools list would have the answer.

One JAA flight school is approved to conduct JAA IR training in Florida according to the CAA school's list and that is European Flight Training (http://www.flyeft.com)
Check their website, but it looks like the partner with a school in the UK for the the UK section of flying and test.
