Hey guys... found this today and thought it was interesting.

E-NEWS UPDATE VOLUME 18 NUMBER 1204 :: Routes Online (http://www.routesonline.com/news/23/av-news/4415/e-news-update-volume-18-number-1204/)

"Kenya Airways to serve South America

The Commercial Director of the African airline, Richard Nuttall, was in Brazil in late November and announced that the airline plans to operate to Sao Paulo from Nairobi in the first half of 2009. It is receiving four B777s and six B767s in the next three months. Strategic Aviation Planning represents Kenya Airways in Brazil. Stay tuned. "

I usually follow up on this but I didn't know KQ had 4 777's and 6 Six 767's (10) aircraft coming in. And I wonder what type of traffic will be on this route. I would've expected KQ to Launch a North American Destination first. Does anyone have anymore info on this? Couldn't find any other creditable sources such as the KQ website regarding this announcement.

North American and Australia are on the cards plus several more destinations in Africa. Planned to happen in lead up, as and when B787 comes into service.

Another route for the narcotraficantes by the sound of it.

With the indefinate delays on delivery of the 787, it's not gonna happen!
