I just saw this come in over the Emirates stadium, appropriately, a glimpse as it whirred between clouds. Made my eyes pop out in disbelief and I had to resort to Google to confirm I wasn't imagining it. But it's true.

Looks great! I look forward to seeing that come over every morning... well, when they're using 27 anyway :)

I was surprised to see it coming in over Twickenham just now,
just managed to find the camera, switch on, select "idiot" mode and snap this - not a very good photo but... http://www.ingenotech.com/photos/Emirates-A380_20081207_1135.jpeg

Sunday Times has an article today: First report from the Emirates A380 -Times Online (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/travel/news/article5294165.ece)

I watched the A380 come into LHR Today, from an Open Space (Ruskin Park)

The BA 777 behind it, what the was it doing :) It went southbound then through the ILS then Est from the south... I thought that thing could come at least 4 miles behind and A380 or is it 6?

Yeah guys thing is it's really quiet and all but it doesn't look all that much bigger than the 747. Certainly wasn't calling "Emirates 2 Super" on Sunday there.

Finally a day time arrival from the mighty Airbus! Ive been keeping a good look out for Emirates 1 for the last few days... when cloudbase permits it sure is a sight, I first thought it was a 747 but soon realised it must be a 380, and like someone else said I did a google search to check! watched it going around in the LAM hold last saturday at 12pm from 10 miles away and also on finals the Thursday before cant wait to see more of them during the day :)
