Hi guys:

When training abroad especially on the ME part , the DGCA only accepts training done on certain type of aircraft for the license conversion. I know the Seneca is very popular with the DGCA, however am not able to find any information regarding the training done on a PIPER SEMINOLE. Also for Single Engine is the Cessna 150 an acceptable plane?

Also the use of Flight simulators.. I know the hours needed by the DGCA is about 200 hours, of these how many can be on a simulator?

thanks in advance for your replies!

Cheers
Sunny

As per DGCA guidlines, for them to issue you with the rating that type of the aircraft must be registered in India. Since there are no PA44's registered in India they will not issue MEP on PA44.
