I have read through many of the threads on here from people requesting information on a family member or friend who is sadly no longer with us and was amazed at the number and detail of replies.

My grandfather Thomas Bolton was a pilot in the RAF but sadly died long before I was born. As I never knew him myself I have been trying to find out what I can about him, I have tried google to little avail. But here is the information my mum can remember. He was in 205 squadron based at Kinloss when he left the RAF in 1966, I also remember finding some books on Canberras when clearing my grandmothers house. After the RAF he flew for Monarch airlines.

I know this is a longshot as it was so long ago, but on the off chance I would be incredibly grateful for any stories anyone might have. Guess it would more likely be from Monarch if anything.

May I suggest that you retry this post in the "Where are they now" section?
1964 is fairly recent for many Ppruners so you may get lucky.:ok:
