Rumour has it that oil runs out in around forty years time. If this rumour is correct should we be looking towards man powered flight.

Peak oil was invented by a bunch of tree loving, hairy armpit, bad smelling hippies...You havent got anything to worry about yet :ok:

by the way, tests with synthetic fuel or liquid hydrogene are already being done by different engine manufacturers/military.

There's around 200 years' worth at Gull Island in Alaska and another big find in Utah. Should be OK for a while yet. And I'm not strong enough to flap my arms!

As a junior school kid, I remember being told that oil would run out in about 30 years, er, 40 years ago...

Have you seen that new magnet-powered motor called the Perendev Magnet Motor? It seems fascinating and no one can work out if it's real or not. If it is, then it could change the world (as far as petrol is concerned)!
