Mrs A had an email request to "send money" from a dear friend - not normally resident in UK although he is a tri-national. While it is possible that the route is to somewhere other than UK, the reply address is from UK. She responded and said ' please confim' which "he" did. Smelling a couple of rats, why would he ask us as he has several fairly well-to-do children, the writing was not his usual style although not the usual 'Nigerian' rubbish; we can one of his grandsons in NYC. Yes, he had been hacked.:ugh:
Question: Is there a UK police facility that tracks this sort of thing, to which this can be reported, as there is here in Canada?
