Who fly Dash8 200-400?

Do you know any airline where the pilots fly the two models Dash8-200 and Dash8-400 simultaneous.

Norwegian carrier Wideroe operates -100, -300 & -400. I doubt their Pilots fly both types at the same time...you can only be one place at a time :}

When I said simultaneous, means one day fly -200 and the day after -400.

I think some flybe pilots in jersey were flying all - that said - some specialised going into LCY - with the 200 - which was equipped with the glide slope program. Capt flew in always, F/o trained anyway to take over/land in case of emergency.

Flybe haven't operated the 'classic' Dash for a number of years now (none of the BACON pilots were flying both models when Flybe inherited that fleet), so not really the most helpful information.

Try a search on the Flight International website (www.flightglobal.com (http://www.flightglobal.com)). They publish a world fleet directory every year, detailing which airlines operate which equipment, and if I recall correctly, the turboprop directory was published within the last 2 months.

Tyrolean Airways used to fly DH8-100 and DH8-400 sinmultaneous (even chances during one day possible). Since they do not operate DH8-100 any more it is just DH8-300 and DH8-400 as CCQ now.

Flybe DHC8 pilots would initially fly both types and I believe sometimes on the same day. This only stopped when the classics were retired.

I was trained for the Q400 while flying the classics although oddly enough I never flew the 400 as I returned to the 146 fleet.

Out of interest I was also qualified for the RJ100 and had Flybe kept the 4 RJ100s they got from Turkish then I would have flown the 146 and the RJ100.
