Can anyone confirm the rumour that EZY have told servisair that they will not be handling their flights after march next year, does this mean that Flight Support might make a return or does anyone know if Menzies are sniffing around for that operation.

Rumour has it Menzies have taken over 4 EZY bases, so dont be suprised if it is Menzies.

Thats the roumour flying around to here at BRS. I didnt realise though that at LPL that your were fellow Servisair colleagues as well. But as Viper has said, do not be at all supprised if it is Menzies wh comes in. At BRS EZY accounts for 60% of the work load for servisair, so it is a huge cut back for them.

initially though we thought it was just BRS that was having new agents in for EZY. Though now I am wandering if there is an underlying, hidden agenda possibly going on here.

What we were told was that Servisair wen't making enough money from EZY, running at a near loss on turn-arounds, so they released the contract early and as such, Menzies has now stepped in.

But tbh There are so many roumours flying around at the moment that I am not believing / doing /reacting to anything until I have seen something written down on paper.

Twas a sad day yesterday but a colleague in a different department at the airport nicely:

"Same Coffee, different label"

Hopefully though that will be proven true.

So LPL do not fear! You are not alone and we at BRS support you all and hope you all are ok :)

Kind Regards

I heard today that Easyjet announced a 41% drop in profits, what bearing will this have on the situation I wonder?
Like I said we might be better off in bed, it;s warm there and you can save on the heating costs when your skint.

Has anyone got a clue about this new shower, are we going to see things get any better with their arrival, or is it gonna be the same old ****e that we have come to know?

Have they been brought in because they have promised to be better than the circus or because they are cheaper?

If they are even cheaper than the circus, does this mean the staff are going to get shafted even more than Circusair, Flight Support and Aviance have also collectivley in their turn managed to achieve?

Or are we going to see a refreshing break from tradition were the staff get well treated and their proffesional knowlage and experience listened to and acted upon in return for a well performed proffesional approach.

In short I know which one I hope for, but I know which one I expect!
