I have an external Liteon DVD RW which doesn't get used much. Just turned it on, the computer saw it (USB) and gave it a drive letter, calling it 'CD Drive'.

Placed a blank DVD in it and all I could get was 'drive not ready'. Placed a used CD in, and the description changed to 'DVD RW' and the files were listed! Wtf??

It identifies correctly under Properties but the file manager persists in calling it a CD drive. Any thoughts?
