I am 32 years of age and have had a passion for flying since I was a child. However, I was not able to afford it and probably it will be very difficult for me to do it all in one go. The question I have is am I too old to start to train as a pilot and that means PPL. my aim is to atleast be able to get to a CPL level and atleast fly a learjet if not a 747

I do not think you have had a passion otherwise you would have immersed yourself in some form of aviation well before now and would not need to ask this question. So the answer is in your case yes but for someone else your age with real passion possibly a no.

In short - no. However you will find this subject has been discussed to death here and for that reason you may shortly be ripped apart by other posters questioning why you haven't done a proper search before posting.
