About three weeks ago a friend was flying bfs-ewr on continental a lady fell ill about half way and a doctor on board advised to land asap it took about a hour to divert to iceland in the meentime two women were talking about blowing up the plane and were restrained by cabin crew and arrested in iceland anyway my Q is who pays landing fees for extra fuel ect ect ect ????

It sounds very garbled- I really don't think 'a friend told me......' works for this sort of thing!
The airline always pays. It's too much trouble to go reclaiming afterwards.

Well it does sound a bit much to all happen on one flight.
