Will there be any additional flights from SA (JNB and CPT) to Saudi Arabia for Hajj flights this month? Saudi Arabian is only re-routing their 2 weekly flights to stop in Medinah first, before continuing to Jeddah.
I think Interlink might be doing some flights, but this time with the 737s?

I am not 100% sure, but a few days ago we saw
one of those clapped out DC10's that was parked at or
near GAL aviation side at FAJS being towed to Delta apron
and then being refuelled. we heard that it
was going to be used for the Hajj.
Interesting thing is that they used to be 3D registered,
so I've been told, but low and behold, the one we saw
has been re-registered to S9.
Not sure as to how airworthy that DC10 is though, it hasn't flown
for the last year. :uhoh:

Using 732's Interlink has been flying a weekly schedule to Jeddah ( with a en-route fuelstop ) for months already.
During the HAJJ they fly 3 flights a week to Jeddah.

The HAJJ season northbound runs till 11 December.
The southbound schedules will re-commence after a pause.
