Dears,

I have been to FAA site or let's say I have looked through 14 CFR part 61 but, was not in mode to analyze it or whatever any way we have this forum to ask each other?
I would like to know what the specific requirements for FI, CFI, CFII are. what's the difference between FI and CFI? And what requirement to have to teach multi-engine?

Regards,

This should be moved to the Flight Instructor's forum, better help there.
FI and CFI is essentially the same.
FI seems to be the way UK pilots name flight instructors.
CFI is the name given to flight instructors in the USA.
The FAA refers to CFI "Certified Flight Instructor".

There are CFIA, means CFI Airplane, designates single engine CFI.
CFII is a flight instructor for Instrument Rating training.
CFIME or MEI is used to designate CFIs who train pilots in multi engine airplanes.
And in UK, or with JAR, there are different names, and different rules.
English is different... everywhere you go...!
