Anyone got any feedback on the types of charter aircraft for safaris for these guys?

I spent two months learning to fly from an operation in South Africa. The time I spent there was worth the experience.
Which operation are you talking about? I know the group I was flying with catered to the experience you wanted, either flying the R44 or the B206.
