Hi guys!

I'm 26 years old and currently studying for my PPL at Coventry - reckon I've got another few months to go before I get my licence.

I'd love to continue to my frozen ATPL but am worried that by the time I get it I may actually be too old and airlines won't look at me.

Does anyone have any advice?

I'm a little bit older than that myself!

Had quite a few converstions with those in and around the industry, and my age hasn't come up once.

Cost, fitness, aptitude, timing, yes, age, no.

Quite a few people with no connection to the industry seem to think I'm too old. Now... who to believe...:confused::E

Whump!

Moderator lands on the platform and looks around - sniffing the air.

Thought I caught a smell of an "am I too old thread".....guess not. I must be getting old. :}

Defo not too old.

I know a captain with virgin who never started modular training till the age of 30.
